2012 Annual Members Exhibit

April 2 – May 31, 2012

The theme for this year’s LIBROS annual show will be Journeys, Inner and Outer. It will be held at the Albuquerque Main Public Library (2nd Floor, 501 Copper Ave NW) in downtown Albuquerque.

Each LIBROS member may enter TWO books (we have much less space this year than in our past shows). There is no time limit on this show, so what wonderful books have you made from your Life’s Journeys, out in the great wide world or inside your own psyche, that you would like to show to the public. (If you think you have a good image to use for the publicity, please send it to Esther Feske.)

NM State Fair

September 9–25, 2011

Entry Dates:
Friday, September 2, 8am–5pm, and
Saturday, September 3, 8am–5pm

Download (PDF) the current state fair entry guidelines. Some differences include only a 2-day instead of a 3-day entry times, extra categories, and a new New Mexico Challenge. Mita Saldana will go over everything in person at the September meeting. If you have anything ready that you wish to enter you can bring it to that meeting for Mita to pick up. 2011 Annual Members Exhibit

April 4 – May 28, 2011

LIBROS held its annual members exhibit at the Albuquerque Main Public Library (2nd Floor, 501 Copper Ave NW) in downtown Albuquerque during April and May 2011. The theme was Wordplay.

The second month of the show  featured Collaborative Books from the LIBROS archive and was curated by Esther Feske.

2010 Annual Members Exhibit

The Accordion Book: Variations on a Theme was the title of our 2010 annual members exhibit at the Albuquerque Main Public Library. We featured all the different ways that the accordion book is designed.
